A way US can reduce carbon output
The US could start reducing their carbon emissions immediately by simply changing the ridiculous legislation that prohibits people from hanging their washing on an outdoor clothes line The reason for this law is to prevent other people from seeing underwear on the line I could hardly believe it when I read about it, in fact I find it rather frightening to know that a Western Country the size of the USA can be so concerned about something so trivial The world is rushing headlong towards it's own destruction because it refuses to reduce carbon emissions The USA should be more concerned about the carbons that electric clothes dryers pour into the atmosphere rather than be worried about seeing underwear hanging on the line Imagine the reduction in carbon emissions if millions of Americans all stopped using electric clothes dryers If this legislation was thrown out it would at least show the world that America is at least trying to do something about carbon emissions instead of ignoring the whole situation I also believe General Motors supplied government offices with 100 electric cars some time ago in California which were all performing very well - then all of a sudden they all disappeared, never to be seen again I bet if Arnie had been governor then it is something that would not have gone unnoticed Who runs the USA??? The oil companies???
